      Hi Arthur,
I think I have found your family. I quickly looked through the baptism records for Soucie(y) that I accumulated from the Assumption Church in Grand Falls, N.B. and the following is what I found. I'm not sure if this would be your father's complete family there may be some missing records as I was rushing and trying to copy as much as I could at the time.
      ---------------------------------
Parents: Thomas Soucie and Agnes Dube -
      Children:
      1)Roy Archille b. Dec 29, 1917 baptised Dec 30, 1917
sponsors: Mr & Mrs Archille Leclair
      2)Irene Cecile b. Oct 14, 1910 baptised Oct 16, 1910
sponsors: Mr & Mrs Adele Carriere
      3)Marie Beatrice b. Dec 22, 1912 baptised Dec 24, 1912
sponsors: Mr & Mrs John Dube
      4)Wilford b. April 18, 1921 baptised April 18, 1921
sponsors: Willie Lagace & Annie Pelletier
5)M. Jeanne Anita Evangelique b. Oct 7, 1925 baptised Oct 11, 1925 sponsors: Joseph Corbin & Jeanne Soucy

I also found the following in the interment records:
Soucie, M. Albertina died January 16, 1921. Daughter of Thomas Soucie & Agnes Dube Age 5 yrs and 8 months. She was buried on January 17, 1921.

Further information shows that Thomas Soucy married Agnes Dube on May 27, 1908 (source: Dictionaire Genealogique du Madawaska Repertoire des Marriages)
Thomas' parents were Nazaire Soucie and Olympe Carriere. Nazaire & Olympe had the following children:

      Thomas (married Agnes Dube)
      Levite (married Philomene Godreau)
      Joseph (married Rose Rossignol)
(source: Dictionaire Genealogique du Madawaska Repertoire des Marriages)

Anyways, I hope this helps to give you a bit of a head start.

      Regards,

      Message Board Post:

I found this post and I am also looking for info. Nazaire Soucy had a child named Thomas Soucy who married Agnes Dube in which they had a child Wilford Soucie born 4/18/1921. I believe this may be my wife's grandfather. Her grandfather cut off thies with his family in his early 20s and we hear very little from him. We know his birthdate was 4/18/21 as he had to get his birth certificate years ago. This is all we know or have been told, quite possibly some of these are not true.

We know he was born in Grand Falls, NB 4/18/1921
We believe his mother's name was Agnes
We have been told that he had a brother who died in a motorcycle accident name we were given was Arnie. The records I found show a brother named Roy Archille, could Archille be abreviated and be called Arnie?
His parents were supposably in the constuction/contracting business and semi-wealthy.
He states they had a black maid named Honey Lee that performed most of the motherly duties.
My wife's grandmother stated someone came by the house many years ago to see him, and she believes it was about his parents/parent dying. She heard him get upset and tell them to get lost.
We believe he had at least 1 sister
we also suspect he may have had a child out of wedlock before moving to Massachusetts.
