      Obituary: Lillian E. King
      AUBURN – a longtime resident of Odd Fellows Home in Auburn, Lillian E. King, 96, passed away peacefully on Sept. 13, 2021, after a long illness.

      Born in Lewiston on Feb. 4, 1925, she was the daughter of Aime and Rosanna (Rodrique) Soucy. She wed Ernest A. King on June 22, 1946. Ernest passed away on May 12, 1973.

      Besides her parents, Lillian was predeceased by her sisters Anne Morin and Irene Picano, brother, Robert Soucy; and sons Allan King and James King.

      She is survived by her sister, Rita Richards of Texas, brother, Roland Soucy of Lewiston; daughter, Maryjane King and her spouse David Collins of Auburn; grandson, Michael (Christina) Rouleau and great-grandsons Hunter, Parker and Hayden Rouleau of North Carolina; grandson, Brian (Michelle) Rouleau of Durham; and several nieces and nephews.

      At Lillian’s request there will be no funeral services.

      The family would like to thank the staff at Odd Fellow and Rebekahs’ Home of Maine for all their years of friendship, support and care of Lillian.
