      Surname: Soucie, Soucy

My gggrandfather Henri (Honore) Soucie married Eugenie Brazeau in Pembroke, Ontario on February 28, 1889. They had several children: one of them, Maude Zelda Soucie, my
ggrandmother was born in Pembroke on August 16, 1890. Henri & Eugenie then moved to Sturgeon Falls, Ontario where her family resided and they had 9 more children.
Henri Soucie was born in Acton Vale, Quebec on June 18, 1863. His parents were Maxime Soucie & Marie Verner. I'm interested in learning more about Henri's family and any
      siblings/relatives.

      -------------------------

Thank you for your interest. I have recently examined the marriage certificate
of Henri Soucie and Eugenie Brazeau. It lists Henri's parents, however
the name of Maxime Soucie's spouse is not written clearly. The name doesn't
appear to be Marie "Verner", rather her surname reads more like Marie "Verrier".
However I recently found a marriage reference which lists a Maxime Soucie
and Marie Perrier as parents of a Georgiana Soucie at Cathedrale d'Ottawa.
Does this sound familiar? Would appreciate any information!
