Posted: 19 Feb 2009 1:01PM GMT Surnames: Emond/ Kennedy to Glenis Dees Hi Glenis, My gr gr grandfather was Thomas Emond married to Mary nee Anderson, he had a brother Robert. Thomas and Mary had a daughter Elizabeth who was about 14yrs when they came to Aust from Selkirk,( a large number of the Emonds came over) she married Charles Kennedy at Geelong in Jan 1858,they had 9 children all born at Rokewood, Vic, the youngest being my grandfather Charles William. I am sure this is the same family you are searching, I have only done a small amount so far regrettfully not much on the Selkirk area as yet.
