I am several generations removed from Peter Amo, Sr. His first wife was Esther LaChapple, born about 1822 in Canada. Info we have (1860 census) indicates Peter was born in Canada, about 1825. His 2nd wife was Elise D'Arbellay, born in Switzerland and died in 1913. Peter, Sr. had 22 children in all and his tobstone is in Eastlawn Cemetery in Alma Center, Wisconsin.

My line goes from Peter, Sr. to Peter, Jr. who married Anna Carr, daughter of Thomas and Susannah Carr of Pennsylvania. Peter and Anna's daughter was Birdie, born in Wisconsin. Birdie had a daughter, Nellie, born in Oregon. Nellie was my maternal grandmother. Nellie married Henry Hendrickson of Castle Rock, Washington and they had a daughter, Violet in 1917 in Kelso, Washington. Violet was my mother. She married Jay Russell, (born Vernon, Texas in 1921) in August 1945. My mother passed away in January 2001 in Kingwood, TX. I was born in Panama Canal Zone (Army brat) in December 1957. I married Judy Jensen of Seattle, Washington in 1991. I have two sons, Kyle born 1994 and Craig born 1997.

Probably more info then you need about the other side of Peter Amo's family, but if you nare keeping a family tree you may want it. If you have other info about the Peter Amo line I would love to have it too. I will pay the costs of duplicates, etc. if desired.
