Posted: 10 Oct 2001 5:51AM GMT Classification: Query Surnames: EMOND, VALLEE Seeking information on Emundum (Edmond) EMOND (1852-1925)and Louisa VALLEE (1858-1941) while they were in Crookston Minnesota. Both Edmond EMOND and Louisa VALLEE were born in Quebec. Their first child Joseph Henry EMOND was born in Crookston, Minnesota in 1881. Their second son Osias EMOND was born in Crookston, Minnesota in 1883. In the early 1890's they trekked to Oak Lake, Manitoba, Canada. I would like to know why they spent a portion of their live in Crookston, Minnesota. What records of Crookston would help me to flesh out their lives? How could I check when they arrived?
