      lsie Alma Soucie
      Milford - Elsie Alma Soucie, 86, died March 10, 2010 at a Bangor healthcare facility. She was born in Bath, Maine on November 30, 1923 the daughter of Wilfred and Ann Marie (Collins) Skaling. Elsie grew up in Bath, Maine and graduated from Morse High School in 1941. She worked at Bath Iron Works during WWII building ships. Elsie was an active member of St. Ann's Church and a life long communicant of the Catholic Church. She was the local coordinator of ABC Quilts, a master gardener, and was also active in the Cursillo movement.

      Elsie is survived by her six children, Jim Soucie and wife Peggy of Ashby, MA., Ed Soucie and wife Shirley of Bath, ME., Nan Hamel and husband Tom of Waltham, ME., Deb Tatham and husband Charlie of Barrington, NH., Karen Sullivan and husband Stephen of Milford, ME., Pete Soucie and wife Carla of Milford, ME., one sister Theresa Ketchem, 9 grandchildren, Heather, Kristin, Nate, Bronya, Travis, Jon, Chris, Jennie, and Samantha, 5 great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews and her cat Ebony. She was predeceased by her parents and her husband Walter Soucie as well as her brothers Skip and Jim Skaling.

      Family and friends are invited to call from 5-7pm, Friday, March 12, at the Birmingham Funeral Home, 438 Main St., Old Town. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10am Saturday, March 13, at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Bradley. Interment at Evergreen Cemetery will be held at a later date.

      In lieu of flowers, gifts in Elsie's honor may be made to M.S.C.U Ending Hunger Campaign, mail to; M.S. C.U., Attn: Cindy Barnes, P.O.
