      Helen T. Soucy
      GOFFSTOWN -- Helen T. Soucy, 74, died June 19, 2010, at her home surrounded by family following a long
      illness.
      She was born in Manchester on Feb. 11, 1936, and was the daughter of Roland and Irene (Gagnon) Sarette.
      She was a communicant of the Parish of the Transfiguration.
      She was educated locally and went on to become a great homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother. She
      remained devoted to some of her childhood friends, always finding time to listen and offer advice. Her
      devotion to the Blessed Virgin, in particular Our Lady of Medjugorje, and daily attendance at Mass, remains
      an inspiration to her family, and friends. She will be missed.
      IN HER LIFE: Family members include her husband of 43 years, Maurice Soucy, of Goffstown; five
      daughters, Carol Bernard and her husband, Robert, of New York, Linda Bernier, and her husband, Ronald,
      of Hooksett, Debra Smith, and her husband, Hannaford, of Winchester, Diane Frost, and her husband, James, of Goffstown, Mary
      Ann Chapman, and her husband, Richard, of Weare; three sons, Robert Soucy, and his wife, Diane, of Candia, Richard Soucy, of
      Manchester, Francis Soucy and his wife, Michele, of Minnesota; 21 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Normand
      Sarette, and his wife, Suzanne, of Florida, Raymond Sarette, and his wife, Dolores, of Enfield; an aunt, Aline Ouellette, of
      Goffstown; several nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers, and sister-in-laws.
      SERVICES: Calling hours at the Lambert Funeral Home and Crematory, 1799 Elm St., corner of North Street will be Tuesday from
      4 to 8 p.m.
      A funeral Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at the Parish of the Transfiguration, Kelly and Alsace St. Manchester,
      Wednesday at 10 p.m. Committal prayers and burial at the Mount Calvary Cemetery Goffstown Road will follow.
      Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society , 2 Commerce Drive, Suite 110, Bedford, NH 03110.
