      Wallace Emond September 29, 2010 Wallace Emond, 84, of Geddes, died Wednesday at University Hospital. Wallace was born in Ottawa, Canada, and came to live in Syracuse at an early age. He was a member of First English Lutheran Church. He was a graduate of Syracuse University, Class of 1951. He served with the Army Tank Corps during World War II in the European Theatre. Wallace was an accountant and retired from Carrier Corporation in 2000. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; daughter, Jacqueline; and two nieces. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, October 4, at First English Lutheran Church, 501 James Street. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the church, prior to the service.
