      MASSE, Leon J. Age 100, of Danvers & formerly of Salem, died at home, July 19th. He was the husband of 78 years of Jeannette "Jeanne" M. (Soucy). Retired architectural engineer he was formerly employed by Pitman & Brown, Morgan National & Naumkeag Lumber. His hobby was creating scale models of historic buildings of international and local renown. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Richard Masse & his wife Nadia of Estero, FL, a daughter, Adrienne LeBrun & her husband Paul of N. Andover, a brother, Robert Masse & his wife Ann of Topsfield, sister-in-law, Rosanna Masse of Danvers, 6 grandchildren, Scott Masse of N. Andover, Robert & David Masse, both of Florida, Lori McConaghy of Singapore, Elaine Testa of N. Andover, Stephen LeBrun of Charlton; also by 11 great-grandchildren. His funeral will be on Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at 8:45 A.M. from the Levesque Funeral Home, 163 Lafayette St. (Rt. 114/1-A) SALEM, followed by his funeral Mass in St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 1 Margin St., (on the Salem/Peabody line) at 10:00 A.M. Visiting hours at the funeral home on Monday from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. Burial will be in St. Marys Cemetery, Salem. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the North Shore, 75 Sylvan St., Suite B-102, Danvers, MA 01923.
