Hi, My gr-grandfather & gr-gr-grandfather, Walter and Robert Emond came to Australia together with 40 other members of the family in 1854. Left behind in Scotland were brothers of Robert - Alexander, born 1814; James born, 1800; William, born 1802; and George, born 1808. Another brother Thomas, born 1812 and sister Sarah, born 1806 also came to Australia with their families.
I have researched the Selkirk families back to 1620 but would like to contact anyone related to any of these families who remained in Scotland in the 1800's or have any other information on the family tree.
