Hémond & Soucy Genealogy

And also Lazure, Aveline, Aidus…

A fascinating journey discovering my origins.

Welcome.

I started this journey back in 1991, with little to go with other than a great desire to learn more about my origins. The occasional chat with my parents, aunts, and uncles got me going. Visits to public archives, cemeteries, and meeting other genealogists gave the momentum. In 1995, I developed my first website. And after all these years, I am still finding new cousins and relatives.

What you will see here is a good collection of genealogical information on the Hemond, Soucy, Lazure, Aidus, and Aveline families.

The data available on this site is far from perfect. Your participation is welcome and appreciated. You can communicate with me if you find missing or erroneous data. Some pages allow you also to add photos or documents.

Thanks for visiting!
