St Andre, Kamouraska parish register baptismal entry. Marie Thecle was born on 25 Jan 1798 and baptized on the 27 Jan 1798 at Riviere du Loup. Godparents were Jean Baptiste Soucy and Marie Thecle Paradis. Entries for Michel's children baptisms are listed as Riviere du Loup which appears to have been a chapel attached to St Andre in Kamouraska. Entries in the parish register for his brother Andre's family do not indicate Riviere du Loup, which would seem to indicate that they lived in Kamouraska proper.
