Regina D. Soucy of Jay, ME died Dec. 11, 1999 in Livermore Falls, ME. She
was born in Caraquet, NB, Nov. 6, 1905, daughter of Andre & Marianna Blackiere
Dorion DeGrace. On Dec.16, 1923, she married Ernest A. Soucy of Chisholm,
in Lewiston. Mr. Soucy died Jan. 24, 1956. She was a communicant of St.
Rose de Lima Church, Jay. Survivors include a son, Albert Soucy of Jay;
7 grandchildren Carol (Gould) Conant of South Paris, Joan (Gould) Naigle
of Portland, Rick Gould of Arundel, Kimberly (Soucy) Cook of Jay, Theodore
Soucy of Livermore Falls, Kevin Soucy of Manchester, NH & Daniel Soucy
of Jay; 14 Great-grandchildren: Jennifer Ward, Jason Soucy, Thomas (TJ)
Plourde, Elizabeth Soucy, Andrew Soucy, Brice Soucy, Karen Batting, Brett
Batting, Bridgett Batting Maldonado, Erika Naigle, Stephanie Gould Day,
Melanie Gould, Justin Gould, & Allysa Gould Dumond; 8 great-great-grandchildren:
Madison, Tanner & Reilly Struck, Carter Ward, Kymberly & Brittany Soucy
& Brian & Kevin Batting. She was predeceased by her
only daughter, Yvette (Soucy) Gould on March 12, 1986 & a granddaughter,
Elaine (Gould) Batting on Aug. 18, 1994; 4 sisters: Eva, Louise, Jeannette
& Delima; 8 brothers:Pierre, Eugene,John, Armand, Frank, Gregoire, Joseph
