Clementine came to Illinois at age 8, she was born in Quebec, Canada. The information I have states "St George de Caconna"--which I believe ? may be the township in Quebec...but I am uncertain. Clementine is the daughter of Joseph Soucie (b 1805 in Canada) and Ma(r?)garet Belanger (b. 1810 in Canada). Joseph and Magaret Soucie had the following children: Jean Baptiste, Josephine, Clementine, Marie, Adele, Rose A., Josephene, Joseph, Pascal. The information I have on this part of my tree is very sketchy...anyone out there have information that sounds similar...? [S909] Vermont Vital Records 1760 - 2008 (Reliability: 3).
