The father Leander Emond obtained citizenship 10/15/1884 in Watertown, Jefferson Co., NY, and changed his name to Leander Amo. He was married to Mary Leroux. They had 10 children: Leander Jr. (abt 1875), Joseph (abt 1876), Josephine (abt 1878), George Philip (born 11/12/1888 - and married Aquilla Anna McIntosh as Philip George Amo), Roy (abt 1891), Emma (abt 1894), Henry, Esther, Stella and Margaret. Does anyone have any information regarding this lineage? This is the only information that I have. Any further information that you may have would be greatly appreciated.
