Delcourt Soucy SOUCY, Delcourt (Del) It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mr. Delcourt (Del) Soucy, retired owner of the Giant Tiger Stores of Gatineau, Hull and Buckingham on May 11, 2010 at the Gatineau Hospital, at the age of 70. Beloved husband of the late Michelle Lemay and son of the late Lowell Soucy and of the late Celest Delcourt. He leaves behind his loving children: Joanne (Guy Drouin), Christine and Steve (Sylvie Brault); his cherished grandchildren: Melanie Gareau, Jason Gareau (Chantal Belley) and Nikko Soucy. His brothers and sister: Olivier (Debie), Brian (Michelle), Diane (Danny) and Roby (Diane). Predecease by his sister Sandra. He also leaves many brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Friday, May 14, 2010 at 11 a.m. at St-Rene-Goupil church, 400, Raymond St. Gatineau Qc. The family will receive condolences at 10:15 a.m. For those who wish to do so, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Quebec would be appreciated. The family wishes to thank the medical and nursing staff of the intensive care of the Gatineau hospital, Dr. Dallaire and specially nurse Isabelle for their support and the good care provided.
