      SOUCY, William T. William T. Soucy, 60, of Atlanta, GA, and formerly of San Francisco and Berkeley, CA, passed away at home on October 28, 2010 due to complications of diabetes. Bill was born on August 23, 1950, son of the late William A. and Jean (Mannis) Soucy of Stafford Springs. He was born and raised in Stafford and graduated from Stafford High School. He was a member of the Cross Country team which won the first State Championship under the late coach Levinthal. Bill proudly served with the U.S. Navy receiving an honorable discharge. After serving in the Navy, he hitchhiked all over the United States making friends everywhere. He then made his home in the San Francisco/Berkeley area for over 30 years. He worked at the Presidio in the accounting department for the U.S. Army. Billy loved trivia, numbers, history, quotes, and reading. He had a great smile and was
      curious about everything. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends everywhere. Bill is survived by his five siblings, Ann M. Soucy, John R. Soucy and his wife Kim, Ellen J. Soucy, Patrick D. Soucy and his wife Pam, all of Stafford Springs, and Paul E. Soucy of Atlanta, GA; his friend and companion Ralph Stephenson of Berkeley, CA; nine beloved nieces and nephews; andnumerous other relatives. Besides his parents, Bill was predeceased by his brother Robert J. Soucy. His funeral will be held onFriday, (November 5, 2010), with a procession forming by 9 a.m. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., StaffordSprings, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Edward Church, High St., Stafford Springs. Burial with MilitaryHonors will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs. Calling hours are on Thursday from 6 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Inlieu of flowers, memorial contributions in William T. Soucy's name may be made to the Stafford High School Cross Country Team,c/o Stafford High School Athletic Booster Club, 145 Orcuttville Rd., Stafford Springs 06076.
