Hello:
A few months ago my sister-in-law asked me to try
and trace her family ineage. They have very little
Emond information, so you can imagine my pleasure at
finding your web page.
Following is the family line according to your
records:

*=* I believe you missed a generation here. Grampa's
parents were known to the the family as Moses Emond &
Mary Ann Paquette. Their great grand children knew
Mary Ann, and though she was quite old, none of them
believe she was over 100 yrs. old.
This is the Census info I have found so far:

I think the 1871 Moses and Sophia are the missing
generation and their son, Joseph Moses is the one who
married Mary Ann Paquette.
In 1891 this Emond family is living near the Rozon
family homestead.
This is our family info. if you would like to add it
to your data base. There are a couple of changes from
what you have.

Since I started with such limited information ( and I
don't speak French), I had little expectations of
being able to trace this family very far. Your site
is phenominal. I can only imagine the hours and days
and months of dedicated searching that has gone into
producing this wonderful family history. Thank you so
