Obit: Dorothy Izaetta Emond Cadillac News (Michigan) 4/15/2019 BOON — Dorothy Izaetta Emond, loving sister, aunt, great aunt, and friend passed away unexpectedly at her home near Boon on Friday, April 12, 2019. She was 76 years old. Dorothy was born to Wilford Joseph and Izaetta May (Helsel) Emond on February 25, 1943 in Pioneer Township, Missaukee County. She had worked at Meals on Wheels in Cadillac for 16 years and loved to knit, take Polaroid pictures, and parties with family and friends. Dorothy is survived by her siblings, Charlotte (Doug ) Clough of Boon, Wilford Emond and Jimmy Emond both of Lake City. She leaves many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and many friends. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at 6 p.m. at the Burkholder Family Funeral Home in McBain with Rev. Steve Boven officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home prior to services. Burial will take place in the Lake City Cemetery.
