Subject Israel Hamond genealogy
Hi:
I found your website with information on Israel Hammond who married Marie
Arthimise Gagne on 23 Jan 1872 in St. Fabien, Rimouski, Quebec, Canada. I
have only an approximate birthdate for Israel Hammond (about 1850). I have
his parents as Jean Elie Hamon and Emilie Michaud (Emilie born abt.
1825). Marie Arthimise Gagne is my great grand aunt and her husband Israel
Hammond is also my 5th cousin 3 times removed. Marie Arthimise Gagne was
born 26 Jun 1851 in St. Fabien, Rimouski, Quebec, Canada; her parents are
my great great grandparents: Joseph Jacques Gagne, born 16 Nov 1815 in
Montmagny, Quebec, Canada, died 1880-1885 in Custer Co., Colorado, and
Marie Theotiste Roy-Lauzon, christened 13 Apr 1817 in Trois Pistoles,
Riviere du Loup, Quebec, Canada. Israel Hammond married a second time,
Marie Catherine Couillard, daughter of Pierre Couillard, born a 1815 and
Catherine Levasseur, born 27 Sep 1820, died 22 Apr 1892.
If you have any more information on Israel Hammond or Marie Arthimise
Gagne, I would very much appreciate receiving it.
Sincerely,
Gary McDonald
